 To Whom It May Concern:

 I have been doing business in China since 1992.  During the course of my meetings and stays I have had the opportunity to work with many commercial/business translators.  Based upon my experience with translators available in China today, I would rate Mr. Richard Liu as among the best I have known.

 The most important skill a good translator can have is his devotion of time and interest to his craft.  Richard provides 100% of his attention to his service and has never failed to meet my needs via email, telephone or in person.

 Richard is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.  This is critical in negotiations as many local interpreters do not speak accurate Mandarin which can impact the outcome of the meeting greatly. 

 Richard translates into “American” English and clearly understands western humor and comments.  I being from Southern California am doing my best to convert him to the Queens’ English, that of West Coast Surfers.  He is making admirable progress!
